Sergant in Captian Barron's Company, Colonel Ellison's regiment, Tennessee Militia, second service. Land grant warrent #1032 for 80 acres of land in Stoddard Co., Mo. issued in favor of John English for his service in the war of 1812. Grant was assigned to the children of his daughter Margaret English Patterson. |
